My goal is to help students improve their struggles in writing in different areas. I can help you improve your quality of writing and provide you different tools to use when you write an essay.
I enjoy working with other students where I can inspire them to love to write. I think writing can be a skill that should be enjoyable where students can benefit from it in a positive manner.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to intial meeting with students or parents and talk about that the student is struggling with. I will talk about what kind of goals the student would like to achieve from a tutoring session. After that I will come up with a plan that best suits the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my bachelors in Communications from Lamar University. Currently working on my teacher's certification course. I have working with students for about 5 years and official tutoring experience for 1 year.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I am very flexible when it comes to pricing. Depending on the age and the goals of the student pricing will change. I like to stay between the $20-$35 price range.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started with pursing a teaching career two years ago as my family inspired me to follow my dream to go into teaching.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from elementary to college level.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My best advice would be to find someone who is going to help you achieve your goals. Your education matters and students deserve the best education no matter what. As a tutor money is not everything to me, but inspiring and helping students means the world to me and other teachers/tutors.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I would make a list of your top three goals you want to achieve out of the tutoring session(s) that way the tutor can help achieve those goals with you. Feel free to ask tutors about their experice being a tutor.
