About
I tailor my lesson to the type of students I tutor based on their academic level, learning style, and preferences.
I also take the time out to get to know my students as a individual so I can better my approach.
Over the years I have been an avid learner, eager to grasp new concepts, and develop methods that make complex topics comprehensible. This passion influenced my decision to begin peer tutoring. I feel a strong sense of joy when I am able to decipher information and share it with others. I enjoy seeing the looks on peoples faces when they’re finally able to understand a concept that they thought they would never be able to.
Peer tutoring has not only benefited my peers, but it has also benefited me. Through tutoring I am able to enhance my own studying skills. As an auditory learner, peer tutoring has also helped me to grasp different concepts a lot quicker through repetition, listening, and explaining. Moreover, through tutoring I am able to improve the study skills of my students and build their confidence. Through the distribution of knowledge I have the ability to foster innovation through the flow of ideas, and creativity. I have found that creative thinking enhances the way that people learn and master different skills.
