My goal as a student mentor and tutor is to equip youth with the tools necessary to be academically successful. Having received my Bachelors degree from UCLA and M.Ed* from Texas A&M University, I am a qualified and responsible tutor and leader that can help prepare your student for higher learning.
I have had the opportunity to work with and mentor students of all backgrounds across the world, working with students in Los Angeles from 2015-2018, students in the Bahamas in 2016, and youth in Cairns, Australia in 2017. I found in each region, a commonality... Intrinsic motivation is the key to academic success.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically ask that caregivers and their students meet with me for an initial consultation so that I can determine the students' needs and how to best serve them. Then, I will schedule tutoring appointments based on my assessment.

How did you get started teaching?
I began tutoring in 2013, after working as a volunteer with students at George W. Truett Elementary school.
