Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, I would help the student out with their homework, asking that they complete it on their own, then troubleshooting the issues at-hand. However, if the student does not have homework, I make my own problem sheet that they can complete with me, as well as practice on their own. If needed, I’ll make a personalized study sheet for the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In regards to elementary and middle school classes, I was always in the advanced math for that year; meaning that I tested out of the grade-level maths for my year, studying the level above's.
