Math is difficult unlike other subjects where knowlegde and skills build on each other. Thus, it is easy for students to hate it (and their teacher too). My goal is to teach the problem solving, reasoning, and critical thinking skills and study habits/work ethic needed in order to improve the student's self confidence and independent learning. I acheive this by not only teaching how to do the math, but more importantly what it means and how to apply it.
