About
- As someone with an Aerospace Engineering background who took many AP classes in high school, I understand exactly what students need in order to succeed in their coursework and prepare for the future.
- I have been tutoring students in Plano and Richardson of all ages since I was a sophomore in high school, and have successfully helped students pass credit by exams for math and spanish courses.
** I typically get most of my clients by word of mouth, and am fairly new to using Tutors.com **

I enjoy helping people reach their academic goals and instilling a love of learning in everyone.
I love turning around people's perceptions of subjects which they have previously disliked. Seeing those test score improvements and positive attitudes is so rewarding!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask them what their strengths and weaknesses are, do a diagnostic test to confirm those strengths, and then begin to work on material from there!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken AP college level courses and exams on all of the subjects which I teach. I have also studied Aerospace Engineering with a math minor, and can teach undergraduate engineering coursework.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I usually charge $50/hr for any math calculus and above, AP Courses, and SAT/ACT Test Prep. I charge $35-40/hr for everything else. If multiple sessions are booked at once, I have discounts for that as well.
How did you get started teaching?
My mom tutored quite a bit of math, and when she got too busy, she would offer me the opportunity to tutor them as well- I have always loved sharing my knowledge with people and will continue to teach for the rest of my life.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students ranging from elementary age to college freshmen. I have worked with students with a wide range of abilities and learning styles, and I love meeting new students!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A few months ago, I helped a 6th grader who is a non-native Spanish speaker prepare for an exam to skip Spanish 1 and 2- this exam is only designed for native speakers, however, the student was able to pass the exam and will be taking Spanish 3 honors in the fall!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say to make sure that you feel comfortable and get along with your tutor before scheduling more sessions- just because a tutor might have mpore degrees, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are more proficient in the subject which they tutor and can effectively teach. A genuine human connection is needed before a student can even begin to absorb information.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should think about their learning styles, their past experience with the subject, and their study habits. This will help students make the absolute most out of their sessions.
