Having tutored students for 15+ years I know that everyone has a different learning style, I enjoy breaking down math concepts in a fun and creative way according to each student's learning style. I have tutored elementary to college students in math. I have a BS in Biology and a BA in Philosophy from University of Houston. One of my favorite classes in undergrad was Philosophy of Mathematics. In addition to being a tutor, I am currently an attorney in North Dakota.
I enjoy getting to be creative, but the best part is when the material finally clicks and the student has a uh huh breakthrough moment.
Honest and dedicated tutor
I like to give new students practice exams to figure out their strengths and weaknesses and evaluate their learning style. I also like to manage expectations and establish goals for the duration of the tutoring sessions. Additionally, I like to establish a schedule.

Find a tutor that understand your learning style and can relay the material in a fun and creative manner that is customized to your needs.
What is your learning style? What are your strengths and weaknesses? How do you understand math concepts the best (e.g. do you understand it by practicing problems, playing games, talking through the steps, working backwards, etc.).
