I am a graduate of Louisiana State University. I am currently a Special Education Teacher who teaches all core subjects (Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, and High School courses) in Middle and High School. I enjoy the light in a child's eyes when they realize that they can read. And better yet, when they understand what they understand what they have just read. Tutoring is my way of giving back to students who have difficulties in learning. I enjoy working with students that are dyslexic. I've worked with students that are dyslexic and they really appreciate the patience that I give to them. My middle daughter is dyslexic and she is working on her second degree. Remember you don't outgrow dyslexia, you learn to work with it....

As a rising senior at Rice University, I have had relatively recent experience with a plethora of topics ranging from SAT/ACT prep and college admissions to college level mathematics. I have tutored for four years now, both as a freelance tutor teaching high school math and science and as a tutor for the Royal Conservatory of Music, teaching beginner and intermediate level piano and music theory.
