My name is Andrea Baker, a teacher and tutor with 19 years experience. I have a passion for working with students who are on the Autism spectrum and have loved educating students with different learning disabilities. I have my masters degree in special education, have taught 6 years in a special education classroom, homeschooled my two children for 10 years, and have been a Registered Behavior Technician for over 5 years. I have also tutored students with learning disabilities or ESL students for 13 years, both online and in person, in the areas of reading, writing, and study skills.

I am a dedicated Educational Therapist with over 15 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. I have a Bachelor's degree in English (Literature focus) from Belmont University and a Master's degree in Literature and Culture from Oregon State University. While at Oregon State, I co-designed a brand new Writing and Rhetoric curriculum for the school, taught Writing and Rhetoric for 10 quarters, and was a Teaching Assistant for literature courses as well. My specialty is in college-level first-year writing (or equivalent) but I am also proficient in high school-level Writing, Literature, and English coursework as well as higher-level college and graduate-level literature studies.
