I love to teach and excite students in whatever they are learning. I began teaching in public schools when I was 22. I taught 3rd and 4th graders for 11 years in all subjects. I then stopped teaching when I had my first child. However, my children were homeschooled and I taught many different types of classes in a homeschool co-op. My main focus is on elementary age students in all subjects. However, if you have a group of students who would like me to teach a mini science class, I can do all ages! I enjoy coming up with new ways to teach a lesson, and I am passionate about my students.

Hi. My name is James. Mr. West if you're nasty. I'm brand new (rookie) at tutoring. My tutoring style is a lot of old school with a little bit of new school. I believe and stress repetition of basic skills and understanding of subject matter. Yes, creste new and incentive ways of learning and grasping subject matter. I'll do an excellent job because I'm committed to my student's understanding and success that goes beyond a grade.

I am a former teacher with certifications in PreK-6th grade core subjects as well as all grade levels of Physical Education, Special Education, and English as a Second Language. I have experience as a middle school PE teacher and coach, a 3rd grade Reading/Language Arts/Social Studies Teacher, and as an assistant in a self-contained special education classroom. I’m now staying home with my own children, but I would love to continue working with young learners. I am passionate about building relationships and helping students gain the confidence and tools they need to take charge of their learning and be successful in and out of the classroom.

HELLO! I'm Nicole! I graduated from Fort Hays State University with my Bachelors in Business Education with a concentration in Talent Development and certificates in Marketing, Social Media Marketing & Leadership Studies. I did all of my education online so I am super familiar with the flexibility of online learning. Since I have a background in education, while obtaining my degree, I filtered what I was learning through that lens. One of my favorite assignments was building a lesson plan to be utilized via an online platform.
