About
Being a student myself, I understand the need for extra help in academics. I hope to share my knowledge and spare time to help my students grasp math and other subjects to a fuller extent. I hope to assess my students' skills and create a personalized learning plan to build upon their knowledge. Throughout high school, I was always approached by my fellow schoolmates to help teach them subjects like Math, English, and Science. I even joined a class to help AVID students who needed help with essay writing. I am currently a student at Texas A&M and the highest math level I took was Calculus AB. I got a 600 on the math section of the SAT and 660 on the English portion. I hope to share the knowledge I have acquired over the years to help my students excel.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Usually when working with a new student, I like to begin with assessing the student's skills and understanding of the subject. I determine what their strengths and weaknesses are so I can put my tutoring time to the best of use. I usually like to assign study problems on each section and later work on the problems they had trouble with.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a college student attending Texas A&M. I can attribute my success to working with peers to broaden my knowledge and study using different techniques. Everybody has a different way of studying and solving problems, and we can all benefit by learning from each other. Throughout high school, I was approached by my peers to help tutor them in Math because being good at math has always been an innate talent of mine.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Because I am a fairly new tutor on this site, my pricing system is as follows:
$30 per hour
I can help anybody looking for lessons in Math (up to Pre-Calculus), English, and any other subject. Just send me a request and I will see how I can help.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find somebody that you can be comfortable with and get along with. You want to be able to approach your teacher with questions so that you can truly understand the subject. Remember, the teacher is there to help you succeed.
