Engineering And Math Tutoring
About
I have broad experience in several fields of math but I specialize the most in Algebra, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Computer Science.Being a student myself, I understand the hardships of grasping everything in lecture and having difficult professors who just can't explain. Working with me, we will go step by step to ensure that you have a strong foundation for future classes to come.
For any questions or inquiries text me or email me at [email protected]
Being a student, I love the feeling of finally understanding a topic after hours of studying and review; that feeling when everything covered in class just falls into place and it all connects with each other. It is one of the most fullfilling parts of my job to see other students get the same feeling.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In the beginning, we can have an initial meeting and discuss the student's needs, their course work, and my teaching styles at no cost. It is beneficial if the student brought past exams, homework, and other assignments to get an idea of the requirements for their class. This all helps me in understanding the student's learning style and how to go about the upcoming sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my high school diploma and Associates of Science in Engineering degree Spring 2019, both with honors. Now, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering along with a Computer Science minor.
Some relevant classes I have taken are (final grade):
- College Algebra (A)
- Precalculus (A)
- Calculus 1 (A) and AP Calculus (4)
- Calculus 2 (A)
- Calculus 3 (A)
- Probability and Statistics for Electrical Engineers (A)
- Numerical Computation and Data Visualization (A)
- Electrical Circuits (A) and Digital Systems (B)
- Physics for Scientists and Engineers I and II
- Math for Electrical Engineers (A) - Linear Algebra heavy
- SAT: 1440 and ACT: 30
As you can see, I have a long but strong background in Algebra and Calculus, and I continue to expand my knowledge in these subjects.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
-For every session, $20 for the first hour and $15 the following hours. Depending on the amount of sessions a week, I also offer weekly rates.

How did you get started teaching?
I got started doing peer tutoring and then hosting small tutoring groups at my schoool to prepare3 for the TSI and college admissions tests.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have the most experience working with high school students struggling to pass their Math TSI Assessment Exam. I also have experience tutoring for Algebra, Algebra 2, and Precalculus. I have taught from 6th to undergrad.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about what mindset you have as a life long learner. Do you have a fixed or a growth mindset? A student with a fixed mindset does not believe in the improvement of their abilities, and just accepts the fact that's as far as their learning retention and skills will go. Someone with a growth mindset does not believe that intelligence is static, but rather an ongoing process. Intelligence is a skill, not a talent you are born with. A skill is constantly being perfected and improved. I believe that once a student knows how they approach learning, they will understand what's holding them back and they can work better with their teacher to view a difficult subject as an opportunity to learn rather than an obstacle.
