Hi. My name is James. Mr. West if you're nasty. I'm brand new (rookie) at tutoring. My tutoring style is a lot of old school with a little bit of new school. I believe and stress repetition of basic skills and understanding of subject matter. Yes, creste new and incentive ways of learning and grasping subject matter. I'll do an excellent job because I'm committed to my student's understanding and success that goes beyond a grade.

One thing that stands out about my service is that I really try to have a deep understanding of the homework problems myself, to see how many ways I can look at it. This multi-perspective approach not only helps the student, but it can broaden my horizons as well. I have a degree in University Studies, which is a great degree for teaching and tutoring. Also, having been a student myself-and not all that long ago- I know how a student thinks, and the ways one can get stuck on a certain issue.
