Love working with children. I am a retired public and Christian school teacher. I taught 47 years most 2nd but also 3rd, 4th, and fifth. I am skilled in teaching elementary reading, creative writing, reading including phonics. I have small group tutored in the past but interested now in individual tutoring. I am a former teacher with certifications in PreK-6th grade core subjects as well as all grade levels of Physical Education, Special Education, and English as a Second Language. I have experience as a middle school PE teacher and coach, a 3rd grade Reading/Language Arts/Social Studies Teacher, and as an assistant in a self-contained special education classroom. I’m now staying home with my own children, but I would love to continue working with young learners. I am passionate about building relationships and helping students gain the confidence and tools they need to take charge of their learning and be successful in and out of the classroom.

I have worked in a healthcare setting for a total of eight years, with combined experience of healthcare administration in nursing home facilities, as well as corporate funded organizations and executive administrator for Hospice care. With over 3200+ hrs of nursing instruction, I have helped students succeed in their academic courses through outstanding 1:1 tutoring
