Private English And Spanish Tutoring
About
I have a passion for language and love teaching it to others. I graduated with triple honors from the University of Texas at Austin and have extensive experience with writing, whether it be creative, research, or anything in between. I also specialize in reading comprehension. I have earned scholarships and grants based on my writing abilities. I'm excited to share my knowledge with you to help you achieve your goals!
I work with my students to develop very specific goals and help them create plans to achieve them. Whether it's raising a test grade, becoming a better reader or writer, or drafting application essays, I've got you!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to meet with my student and establish a plan for our following sessions. What subject are we working with and what are our specific goals for each subject? We create a SMART goal that is specific, measurable, attainable, and time sensitive. We then decide how we can achieve this goal in a way that feels doable to the student by meeting them at their level and working our way up together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a teacher for 3 years now. I have taught ages 4-13 in all subjects. I am currently a 6th grade Spanish teacher.
I also have mentoring and tutoring experience, including SAT tutoring.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge an hourly rate that accounts for distance traveled and time spent with each student.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching with Teach for America in 2018 and have taught grades pre-k to 6th grade since then.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds and language abilities. No matter where we start from, I can get you where you'd like to be!
