I enjoy seeing students finally understand a concept that they have had trouble with for so long. That "ahhh" moment really pushes me to continue teaching to help students score well in school quizzes, tests, and end of course exams.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students ages 12 or Younger- Talking with parent if possible to gauge the students ability and their problem areas. After I would speak with students and as them about their school and what they find difficult about the subject. Then proceed to teach them how to solve problems and provide practice problems they could solve with my guidence until they are fully capable of solving it on their own.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Gifted and Talented student that started their math journey in 8th grade with Algabra 1. I have taken other courses like Geometry, Algabra 2, College Algabra, PreCalculus, while getting A's in each one, and am currently taking AP Calculus.
