I've been a tutor for a considerable long period of time. I teach math, chemistry, physics, biology and the like. I always teach my students and make sure they understand the concepts of the subject so that they do not have to merely memorise them.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Usually, I start by stating the learning objectives of the topic to be treated. And also I pose questions to know if my students have any knowledge of the subject.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice to my students is that they should be serious at their study. They shouldn't think they're studying in order to be rich; they should bear it in mind that they're studying in order to be resourceful at what they do. They should make sure they understand the concepts of the subject and not merely memorising them.
