I have a very good ear, patience, direction, discipline and encouragement throughout teaching the basics of ESL, Literature comprehension, etc. I love words and it is a passion of mine to be able to pass on the intent, focus and zest for each word read, comprehended and internalized. I also believe in literacy and am a proponent of the proper use of the language. I am also able to distinguish between different spoken dialects and accents from around the world with the English Language, from growing up in a melting pot of diverse cultures and languages. I have been teaching ESL online for quite a few years, off and on and love to help students improve their ability of Literature Comprehension.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Gaining the rapport quickly of a new student is very important and I do this through the use of props, TPR, listening, explaining and having a lot of patience and direction where needed. Establishing trust and end goals are key to to a new student's progress.
