Hi! My name is Kyla and I am an elementary school teacher. I love teaching with hands-on experiences that are going to help the students solidify the concepts I'm teaching. I also believe in asking children questions that guide them to the right answer.

I obtained my goal of a M.S. in Psychology in 2018. Prior to that, I spent 8 years teaching middle school science to at-risk youth. I also received my ELL certification. This required me to come up with different methods of teaching as many of my students were on 4th grade reading levels. I can tutor students who struggle in Middle School science.
