Above all my qualifications, I am extremely passionate about learning and helping others learn! Coming from a community where I was the only one committed to my education, I understand the frustration of not having resources available or feeling like you have no one in your team to help you further your education. That is why I am here to help you! I am very patient and love finding several different ways to solve problems - if you do not understand the concept the first time, we will keep adjusting until it fits your learning style. Everybody can learn, you need to know what works for you! I love working with kids, and am especially good with those who may have special needs which need to be considered in their learning process. My main focus is to form a path that fits your goals and learning style, specifically tailored to make you feel comfortable when learning. Not only do I teach work, but I offer encouragement, understanding, and the utmost commitment to being on your team! I am a high school senior, with all A+ grades in all honors and AP courses throughout high school. I wrote a 760 on the writing section of the SAT with English. Senior manager of Creative Writing and Poetry Manager at my high school. Founder of project which teaches our middle school students better reading skills. Have been deeply involved in middle school math, middle/high school English, reading, writing, middle/high school history tutoring since my Freshman year, for my school's non-profit student aid initiative.

My favorite part about teaching others is the look of victory on someone's face when they finally understand the concept - that one concept, the one that looked so scary, and now they have conquered it! I learn every day, whether it is my own schoolwork or all the extra information I engulf myself in daily (because I love learning!) Therefore, I can travel with the student through their journey of furthering their education and entirely conceptualize how they feel and why. I enjoy really cherishing the journey along with my students, the highs and the lows, and especially the day after many blood, sweat, and tears when the student can say, "I did it!"
