I am a Certified Public Accountant 73 years old. I homeschooled my grand daughter during covid. Taught math and reading during my time with her. I'm good at teaching elementary math. I like to read out loud and am capable of teaching elementary reading. Currently I work in public accounting for small business. I have passed the background check for Dallas ISD and have volunteered for Reading Partners organization.

As a biology graduate, I have developed a strong passion for understanding how living systems work and for helping others make sense of complex scientific concepts. Through my coursework, I have built a solid foundation in topics such as cell biology, genetics, and human anatomy, while also learning the importance of clear communication and critical thinking. I am eager to apply my knowledge as a tutor, not only to reinforce my own understanding but to support students in gaining confidence and clarity in biology and stem subjects. I'm a certified teacher for K-6 elementary education and ESL certified. I have experience teaching 4th and 5th grade math and science in the public school system. I am familiar with the standards that students have to master and am focused on meeting students where they are at to help them achieve their goal the best way they learn.
