I am a certified teacher in the tate of Texas. I have a Bachelors degree in Child Development and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Texas Woman's University. I am taking a break from the classroom this year due to COVID precautions as I am high risk, but I am excited to still be able to offer virtual tutoring. I love to be able to witness students have that "light bulb" moment when everything starts to make sense. It is such a wonderful feeling to see how excited they get when the learn a new concept.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Assessing the student upon first meeting is crucial to the success we have during tutoring sessions. I need to get a good picture of where we should start and what skills they have mastered and where we need to put a little more focus.
