I am a certified teacher with 9+ years of teaching experience. I graduated from University of Notre Dame for undergrad, and also have a Masters in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education. I have worked primarily with high school students in public schools in Chicago, but also have experience tutoring younger students from 1st to 7th grade. I am a certified special education teacher, with 5 years of special education experience and have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus. I love working with students who struggle to access curriculum, and I excel in breaking skills down to meet students where they are at and making them feel successful. I have also written curriculum for pre-algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus, with 3 years of experience teaching general education pre-calculus. I worked in a college prep public high school in Chicago for 8 years, and have extensive knowledge of both the ACT and the SAT. I hope to make students feel comfortable working with me; my favorite part of teaching is building relationships with students, and making them feel successful! I have a strong track record of proven results.
