Jonathan Lindbloom Math Tutoring

I am an undergraduate student at Southern Methodist University studying mathematics and finance. I am an extremely focused individual who excels at analyzing complex problems, assessing the merits of methods of solution, and effectively communicating my ideas to others. Currently, my interests lie in studying the applications of mathematics as a powerful modeling tool for understanding phenomenas in various settings.

I attended Coppell High School, where I graduated with an Internatioanal Baccalaureate Diploma. I scored a 35 on the ACT Math section, and a 6 on the IB HL Mathematics exam. I also received the IB Advanced Math Student Award in both my junior and senior years. I have experience tutoring students as a supplement to math classes in school, or in preparation for standardized testing and AP/IB exams. I have taught the gamut of students from Kindergarden to College-level, and tailor instruction to the needs of each individual student. My goal in tutoring is to instill with students a love for mathematics by illuminating concepts they struggle with, and to erase their fears concerning math in the classroom.
