I believe that what sets me apart is my commitment to approaching my students as individuals and learning about them in order to serve them best. My goal is to build confidence in students so that with tutoring, I will be needed less at we progress. I have 10 years of experience teaching in public schools here in the metroplex and serving diverse populations of students.
Our tutors are teachers and professors in their subject area and we tutor 1 on 1. We are "different" from tutors who tutor privately because we use teachers and professors who are experienced at teaching the specific subjects. Beware of tutors who have a degree other than education but say they can tutor a bunch of subjects.
We tutor online through Zoom including our successful group PSAT/SAT/ACT courses

In high school I did exceptionally well juggling extracurricular activities while earning A's in all of my classes. I did so by working smarter, not harder. This meant learning what type of learner I was and adjusting my study skills accordingly. This led me to be successful in future classes I took.
In college I mastered my science, including anatomy & physiology, chemistry, neuroscience, psychology, and biology. I also did very well in my math courses such as algebra and calculus, earning A's in both.
I love helping students as both a tutor and mentor. I have tutored fellow students at my university, as well as aided my high school's tu

Each student has a unique way of learning. If a student is having difficulty in mathematics or science, or getting low scores on major tests, chances are, the student is trying to understand the subjects in a way that is different from the way the STUDENT learn things.
Once you learn how YOU learn, there is nothing you cannot learn. I use a technique that quickly identifies your unique learning style; then I help you fill gaps in your previous learning while at the same time help you build confidence in the subject. Once your learning barriers are removed you will be amazed how fast and easily you approach and solve just about any math or sci
