I love to teach and excite students in whatever they are learning. I began teaching in public schools when I was 22. I taught 3rd and 4th graders for 11 years in all subjects. I then stopped teaching when I had my first child. However, my children were homeschooled and I taught many different types of classes in a homeschool co-op. My main focus is on elementary age students in all subjects. However, if you have a group of students who would like me to teach a mini science class, I can do all ages! I enjoy coming up with new ways to teach a lesson, and I am passionate about my students.

Hello, my name is Jorge Ahumada, I hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Pre-Med from UTD, towards Medical School. I tutored Science and Mathematics at Dallas College Northlake Campus for three years bilingually (English-Spanish), and on my own. Actually, I tutor Mathematics, Science,Spanish, and ESL, independently. My goal as a tutor is, not only for students and parents to see tangible results adjusting my tutoring to the needs of each student, but for students to become confident and excited about learning, while experiencing progress.

I am a current student at Parker University pursuing a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. I have 3+ years of experience of tutoring. I have mainly tutored within the 6th-12th grade level. I do have some experience tutoring post high school students. I make it a point to get to know each student individually, and strive to help them reach their goals. Whether a student needs a slow, methodic pace, or a quick and concise teaching, I am adaptable and willing to find what method allows the student to retain and succeed in the content being taught. I welcome all parental feedback and any recommendations in which I can better my tutoring methods to ali

You don't do all the processes and steps in maths, you just have to know the basics of the topic and some good tricks. I try to teach maths in your own way and try to mix it with my own way, but I promise it is not going to be another math tutoring. I like understanding what people are missing out on and solving the problem for them.

I have always had a talent for explaining solutions and the process in a way that doesn’t hurt your brain. In middle school and high school, students asked for my help instead of the teachers' help.

HELLO! I'm Nicole! I graduated from Fort Hays State University with my Bachelors in Business Education with a concentration in Talent Development and certificates in Marketing, Social Media Marketing & Leadership Studies. I did all of my education online so I am super familiar with the flexibility of online learning. Since I have a background in education, while obtaining my degree, I filtered what I was learning through that lens. One of my favorite assignments was building a lesson plan to be utilized via an online platform. I would be more than happy to share a link to these sample lessons as well - just ask! :) Full disclosure: I have mi

Garnet was great to work with. My son went from a 39% to 71% in both is math classes in just a few weeks. Without this he wouldn’t have graduated high school. Really appreciate it

He walked through each step and make it really easy to understand. I had no clue how mechanisms work or how to push arrows or make pKa tables or do a chair flip when my professor explained it but Justin taught me how to do it and why it works which made everything click and I actually started having fun which I thought wasn't possible with this class!

We just moved to the US from Korea and the change has been very tough for my kids. They are not familiar with the US school system and falling behind. I saw their confidence draining. But all of that changed when SoFlo came into the picture. To start, they gave a free assessment so they could figure out where my children were struggling. From there we had weekly tutoring sessions that my kids actually enjoy. I am seeing their confidence return and life in the US get better for them
