About this tutor

Hello here! My name is Teni. I currently live iin Dallas, TX, but I have lived in a lot of places.

I love math and science, but I definitely prefer math. So if you need help with math, please feel free to cantact me.

I am not a professional math teacher, but I am very passionate about math, so I love getting the chance to help people by sharing my knowledge, and learning even more by dong so.

Another thing I do apart from math is sports, track and basketball mainly. This is another passion of mine.

I will help students achieve their goals by being patient, understanding, keeping up with their pace, helping them bulid confidence, and pushing them to do more. I trust that this will encourage students to want to learn more.

Its most important benefit I believe, is that both parties are learning even more. The tutor gets more knowledge, and sometimes ends up even knowing what they teach by heart while also helping someone else learn what they need. This is what drives me to want to teach people and help them, I simply love learning more and more.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

It would depend on what course it is and how long each session would be.

How did you get started teaching?

People would usually ask for my help, and so I decided to take it further.

What types of students have you worked with?

Middle schoolers-high schoolers.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Basketball and track.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

You wouldn't know how good or bad they are until they start teaching you, life itself is a risk. So risk the first one, or whatever number you're at, let it be a match with your budget, and see where it goes.
