About
I am a going-to-be 11th grader with a 4.6 GPA and I am willing to tutor kids in Math, English, Biology, Spanish, and more! I also paint and dance in my free time, so I can help in that too! I love working with kids and I believe that I can break work down in a way that they can understand! I have a good attitude and patience when it comes to children. Some of my accomplishments are: I am top 20% of my class with perfect attendance, I've had almost all A's in highschool so far (the grade being a high B), I've maintained a high gpa while being captain of the colorguard team for marching band and participating in theatre, I'm a year ahead in English and Math, and I have been told by many adults and teachers that I am a natural born leader. We've all experienced some struggles with our classes, so tutoring is a way for me to relate and help you or your child be the best they can be.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always greet whoever I'm tutoring kindly and with open mind. I take my time to learn and understand why they are struggling and the most effective way to help. I know some teachers teach things different, so I find out how they learned it and if needed, switch to a different method.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For English: I have passed English 1-3 and since I am ahead, I skipped English 4 so that I can take AP Language.
For Math: I have passed Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1-2, and Geometry. Although, Geometry is not my strongest suit.
For Spanish: I have passed Spanish 1 and 2 with a 97 or higher.
For Biology: I have passed Biology 1 and will take AP Bio next school year.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$25 an hour, $15 every half an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I've always excelled in my classes so my teachers would usually have me help another student.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with kindergarten all the way up to 12th graders. I've worked with all types of students in varying races, ages, classes, and schools. I've also worked students whose emotions shine through when they don't understand and get frustrated.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recall helping friends with Spanish during quarantine while we were out of school. It makes me happy to know that I am helping people.
