About
I am a private tutoring specializing in the sciences and lower-level maths including algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and statistics. I have been working as a private tutor for six years and taught SAT/ACT prep for Kaplan Test Prep for three years. I am willing to meet at convenient locations and looking to meet any needs for my students.
I am a current undergraduate in my third year at URI studying microbiology, general biology, spanish, and criminology with a minor in chemistry. I also work in a biology lab and a chemistry lab so I will be able to help with any questions regarding laboratory classes. I work in the health care field on the Pre-PA track and can help with things such as anatomy, physiology, Pre-Med decisions, and getting some experience in that field.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently majoring in Microbiology and Biology. I have worked as a private tutor for 6 years, and have been a professionally trained instructor and tutor for Kaplan Prep for three years specializing in math and writing for SAT/ACT/GRE. I work in a chemistry and microbiology lab assisting with experiments and such. All of these experiences have given me a very strong foundation in the subjects that I teach and tutor.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked mostly with students in middle school and high school. I have also worked with students with educational difficulties such as ADHD and autism. I also have a brother with autism and am very well versed in how to target my teaching style to match the needs of my students.
