About
Our services are results-oriented for any student's both near-term results such as weekly assignments as well as long-term learning enrichment. A student's articulated goals and the most efficient pathway to their achievement are the basis of our always personalized approach to tutoring.
Our key service provider received his diploma from Milton Academy and has since received a BA in English with a minor in History as well as a Juris Doctor (JD - Doctor of Law) from Boston College and LL.M (Master of Law) from Lund University in Sweden. Although his full-time management position in a global banking firm limits his available hours (mostly) to nights (EST) and weekends, his approach to tutoring services specific to reading, essay writing, and other "English Major" skills have been developed through his employer's ongoing, weekly volunteer efforts through Boston's "Citizens Schools" program.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Understanding a student's goals / needs is always the first step in our process. Secondly, through hands-on work with a student, we will evaluate individual, existing skill-sets and knowledge. More specifically, if a student can provide course guidance / material such as a syllabus or an assignment itself, next-steps and an efficient project plan can be created more easily for the student. Our goal is to evaluate "on the fly" and meet student goals--both near and long term.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BA--English, JD--Law, LL.M--Law, as well as volunteer teaching for the past two years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$30 per hour for 1) in-person or "live" instruction via the internet as well as 2) offline instruction / feedback specific to editing, comments, review, etc. of students' work.
With regard to point 2 above, instruction / feedback will be agreed to beforehand with no surprises.
