I am a certified special education teacher as well as a certified elementary school teacher. I have been teaching for more than 5 years. I have a passion for helping students of all academic levels meet their goals through problem solving, engaging lessons, compassion, humor, and understanding. I have been tutoring for many years, and look forward to helping your child meet their goals!
The best part of my job is seeing that "ah-ha" moment when students finally understand a concept and can apply that concept. This increases their confidence and self-esteem so they are ready to tackle their next goal.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first get to know them personally. After that, I focus on understanding their academic goals and also understanding their best learning style. We then work together to meet academic and personal goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My highest level of education is a masters degree. I am dual certified in special education and elementary education.
