About
As a future educator, I have seen the ways that math either helps or impeeds upon an individuals ability to succeed in school. My goal is to help simplify the thought process of math, to give reason behind it, so that a student will learn to develop problem solving skills and will be successful in future academic tasks.
I have been tutoring since I was 12, and now at 21, I have worked at multiple schools (middle and high school) as well as independently tutored. I am currently working on certification for secondary education with mathematics in PA. I have a 4.0 GPA at my university.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to begin right away with looking at a problem the student had gotten wrong in the past and looking at each step individually. I like to, while talking about each step, ask each student what they did and WHY they did it. Many times errors come from misunderstandings of theory and can be easily remedied.
