My tutoring sessions are in-person at the Doylestown PA office or online if coming to the office is not an option.
Each session is individualized. I hold a Masters degree in education and I specialize in science, math, writing and literacy.
I love helping students gain confidence and achieve. My favorite thing (besides getting know my students) is when the "light bulb" goes on!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every student is different but I always start by talking to them, finding some common interests. We start slow with practice work in the subject area and I build from there.
I create learning plans for my students where I record progress as well as map out a path to move ahead.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught middle school and high school science for 15+ years.
I served as an administrator of a Philadelphia high school.
I have been tutoring students ages 8 to adult for more than 20 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes. My tutoring is done in one hour sessions at $45 each.
I offer a 10% discount when 20 or more lessons are purchased.
How did you get started teaching?
My Mom and Dad were both teachers so I was raised in a classroom. It seemed natural to go into teaching and I am happy that I did.
