What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I determine your goals, and work together with you to create a schedule and check in points to ensure we are making realistic and efficient progress
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently privately tutor students in high school mathematics and SAT.
I worked with C2 education tutoring SAT prep and college admissions essay work, and I worked with Tutoring Club helping students with math and english.

$100-$200/hour depending on financial situation and number of hours per week
How did you get started teaching?
I started in high school actually by founding an AP chemistry tutoring club and continued since then by volunteering, working in companies (C2 Education and Tutoring Club), and doing it privately as well.
What types of students have you worked with?
All kinds! High school students to elementary students-I'm eager to work with all ages

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise you to give a tutor the opportunity to explain why their tutoring is unique and different. Sometimes a simple conversation is all it takes to realize you click with one tutor in a meaningful way that will lead to a productive tutoring relationship.
