About

I feel like kids would be more comfortable with me because I am a college student, but will still give the same quality of tutoring.

I love teaching kids math and working with all types of people. Math has been one of my loves since I was a little kid.

I have done multiple tutoring sessions with Alain for AP Statistics and I feel that I have become more confident and understanding of the material. He is very patient and takes his time to break down the problem step by step. This is very helpful and he is able to explain how to solve the problem in a way that is easy to understand. I would highly recommend Alain for tutoring if you need help with Statistics. He is very nice, helpful, easy going, experienced, patient, and easy to work with.

    Frequently asked questions

My typical process is getting to know the student and making sure they are in a comfortable environment. Then we can get into what subject they need to be tutored in and things of that nature.

I have a highschool diploma and I am pursuing my degree in economics from Susquehanna University! I have tutored for over 2 years with Mathnasium and Varsity Tutors.

I charge $18/hr for my services.

I started tutoring math my junior year of high school at a place called Mathnasium! I have always had a knack for being an above average math student!

I have worked with all types of students. From as young as kindergarten all the way to graduate students.

I would say to make sure you figure that they are a person you feel would have the right tutoring style for you. I think we all have preferences of the way we learn best so it is important we get matched up with someone we are comfortable with. Someone that can make tutoring fun!

I think that students should ask themsleves

    -their teaching style
