Gabe Nauman's Tutoring

Hello! I am Gabriel Nauman. I have a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Pittsburgh. I have been out of college for about a year now, so the required math skills are still very present to me. Throughout my schooling years I have always been advanced in math. Including, jumping a year forward in math education while in middle school and through high-school. While getting a mechanical engineering degree does not make you a good tutor, I have other experiences that have shown to myself that I am more than capable. Growing up, my little brother had a learning disability. God put me on this earth to be able to teach him through some of these difficult learning moments. This showed me that I not only have a gift with math, but connecting with people in a way where they will always learn from me- no matter what! I have tutor experience as well. I was a Teaching assistant at the University of Pittsburgh for a full year in calculus 1. I have also tutored people older than me who decided to go back to college in their later years. This being said I am more than comfortable tutoring at a high-school level or above. If your kid tutors with me, they will 100% learn the subject as well as study methods that can be used throughout their schooling. But, most IMPORTANTLY they will learn that hard work is the key to all success. I would be lying if I said I have never studied for a test, never felt like I needed help on a math question, or never felt like I was not capable at some point through my schooling journey. These things are true in all aspects of life, it is how you respond to failure or hard times that shape you as a person and student.
