Academic Tutor
About
I am a senior Accounting and Marketing double major studying at Lehigh University, and I have had experience tutoring at all age and ability levels. During the second semester of my freshman year, I was a peer tutor for Business Calculus in Lehigh's Center for Academic Success. I tutored 12 of my peers in a group setting for 4 hours per week. During my entire sophomore year, I tutored 3rd-5th graders through the community service office for the America Reads/Counts Program. These were students from the local elementary schools in Bethlehem, and I helped them with their homework during after-school hours. Throughout the past two years, I have also done walk-in tutoring for business undergraduates in Introduction to Financial Accounting and Introduction to Managerial Accounting.
As an effective communicator, I translate my knowledge into a form that is easily received and understood by whoever I am tutoring. I am a loyal and mentally-present individual, as I always try to build a solid relationship with whoever I am working with.

I am finishing up my last year of education, and my success is due in large part to my inquisitive mindset and ability to find motivation in whatever I am learning. I enjoy seeing my students improve academically, but what I love even more is being able to help my students become intrinsically motivated about their classes. In my eyes, this is what leads to long-term academic success, and I want to help every individual reach that point!
