About
I am currently a senior pursuing a Business Administration degree at the University of Oregon. In my early years of schooling, I personally had my very own struggles when it came to learning and understanding math, therefore I know exactly how frustrating it can be when certain equations make absolutely no sense whatsoever. In light of such adversity faced throughout my earlier years as a student, I have managed to develop key learning tools and habits to help master all areas of mathematics. Over the past few years I have tutored a handful of different students of all ages covering basic math, pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry and trigonometry. Of all the students I have tutored thus far, I am proud to say I have been able to help each and every single one of them increase their mathematical proficiency quite dramatically.
Given the extremely difficult times we are currently facing as a nation, I feel obligated as an educator to step up and help as many individuals as possible. I feel very strongly when I say that remote learning is not at all enough when it comes to learning new material in any subject. It is a genuine passion of mine to help educate—as I find it to be quite fulfilling; so please, if money happens to be a concern for you, I encourage you to reach out and let me know so that we can figure something out.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When meeting with a new student, I typically like to start off by sharing some words of encouragement, reflecting back on my journey of learning math. Next, I assess the student’s current level of understanding for math, and compare it to the expected goals for the class. From there, I work with the student to build a plan to help bridge the gap between where the student is, and where the student needs to be in order to successfully master the required material. Each plan is specifically tailored to the needs of each individual student (because everyone learns differently!).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically charge between $25-$35 an hour depending on how much travelling there is, though if money happens to be an issue please let me know so we can work something out!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students in the 3rd grade all the way up through 12th grade.
