I'm a high school student and understand how hard it is to make write an essay or even learn how to do active comprehension reading. Because of my current hands-on experience, I can help in a way that will effectively target any issues you're facing.
English has always been one of my best subjects. I love reading books and writing, especially when I have tons of creative writing freedom, from article-style examinations pieces to novel and literature analysis essays.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I'll talk with the student first and see where they need help. From there we'll set up a plan so that the student can receive help now and learn new skills to put to use in the future.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a straight As, full Honor student at Oregon Episcopal School. I have a full 4.0 GPA and am well versed in High School level English and below. I have also worked as an intern at several companies where I developed high social skills working as a receptionist.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I would charge around $11 an hour. It can also depend on what skill the student is trying to learn and the difficulty and resources of that skill.
How did you get started teaching?
I have done tutoring before at my high school through a volunteering program but would like to expand my tutoring opportunities.
What types of students have you worked with?
I'm okay with working with any student. Anyone who needs help with high school level English or below are the people I am willing to teach.
