What is your typical process for working with a new student?
You got to get to know how their brain works, not every kid learns in the same way as the next guy, a personalized learning experience is much more helpful in their growth and understanding.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While still being in High School I will graduate this may with an honors diploma and ill be headed to osu where I have accumulated a great deal of college credit through my high school.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
It varies depending on how long the session is and how long of a drive it is.
How did you get started teaching?
I started volunteering at my local elementary school and have a passion for it ever since.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types, from kindergarten to high school.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am fond of my sister asking for me to help her with her work. It feels good to be able to guide someone through a problem to where they understand it.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you get along with them. I have had dozens of teachers and the ones that I learn the best from are the ones that I get along with.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They need to have a specific point of confusion. A teacher can't help a student if they say, I don't know what to do.
