About
I love math with every fiber in my being. My goal is show others how fun math can actually be. I have completed math up to college multi-variable calculus. I have help many students in their math class in college and lead them to success. I teach in a way that is unique to every person. I can even get creative witht the lessons to make the math feel more applicable to life.
I love seeing the light bulb go off for a person whrn they understand how to do a math problem. I also love helping people realize that math is not as hard as they think if they just take the time to understand how the math is done.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually ask what the students strengths are and what they feel like they struggle with the most. Then I usually try to engage in those struggles with a lot of easier versions of math problems. I will then build up to the challenging problems. I also like the student to explain to me how to do the math problems so that I can see that they truely understand the math process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am about to graduate from Willamette Univesity this may 2020. I have taken many math classes there through multi-variable calculus. I also tutor at a program for 8th-12th graders for whatever math help they need.
