I spent 5 years teaching elementary school in Southern California and a half year in China and Thailand. I am currently a guest teacher in both the Evergreen and Vancouver Public school districts. I have been in this position actively for the past 5 years.
I have a Masters degree in Educational Literacy. I possess a Business Administration degree, with a major in Accounting and minor in Marketing Management. I have worked in financial management positions for over 18 years.
My rates are reasonable and are dependent on the subject being tutored and time needed.

What I enjoy most about tutoring/teaching students is getting the aha moment. The moment when the student understands a subject or concept for the first time. That smile and satisfaction that they receive, is also received by me.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I meet with the student, and where applicable their parent/ guard, to identify their needs and wants. I also test their current level, so that we can ensure session growth.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors degree, majority of a teaching credential, 7+ years of teaching in classroom.
