I have a Masters Degree in Book Publication and specialize in New Media writing, such as YouTube scripts, webcomics, unique stories that span multiple mediums, and more. I write young adult sci-fi and fantasy flash fiction, poetry, short stories, and novels.
I've been critiquing and editing writing for over 15 years, in many forms. I love it! I love helping people communicate and improve their storytelling skills. This is important for everything from essays and cover letters, to prose.
I'm particularly experienced in genre fiction prose, but I've got a strong grasp on essay writing, and nonfiction.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start with a free hour, an uncharged 'getting to know each other' video chat. I like to know my client's goals and passions. It makes communication easier and colors my suggestions, no matter how small.
I have many clients that have many different needs. So, I can meet at whatever time is best for you. If we are in the same town, I'd love to meet in person. It's always better to work in person. I do travel around a bit, as I work remotely. But, I am often in Portland, OR.
