What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I get to know students well, and I am always happy to see new faces.


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a classroom assistant at McCornack Elementary School and a teacher for after school programs on homework help, reading and math help. I am a senior undergraduate at the University of Oregon with Environmental Studies as my major. I have been working with K-12 students for three years at least. 


Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Usually for private tutoring I charge $20 per hour. But I am flexible on pricing

I just love to work with students

Elementary school students (most)

Middle School Students

High School freshmen and sophomores.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

See if the teacher is willing to help you and the teacher is patient. 


What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

They should think that can I actually figure things out on their own.
