I start with diagnostics in order to pinpoint the main issue with students.

Undergrad in Secondary English Education from the University of Dayton

Masters in Reading Curriculum K-12 from Cleveland State University

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I typically charge $40/hour

How did you get started teaching?

I have always loved reading and writing and I've been teaching since I was 21 years old. My family is full of educators - so it's in my DNA.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked in every setting and with every "type" of student. Currently, I teach 3 classes of advanced classes and 3 classes of special needs students.
I am able to help all of my students become successful!

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I love teaching Shakespeare and helping students analyze difficult text.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Always be open to learning in a new way! Also, if you do a little bit of practice every day - you will soon overcome your obstacles.
