About
I serve students all over the world by providing a relaxed atmosphere for learning. My teaching approach is more centered on the student's learning style. I have been teaching engineering and math-related subjects for the past 6 years.
The joy of realizing that a student understands something he initially thought was complex is what drives me. This builds confidence, hence, paves the way for the student to do better in other subjects. As an engineering teacher it is my desire to help many high school/first year college students enroll and complete science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) majors.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I get to know the student (personality traits) and the related problem from the student's perspective. Although this usually doesn't take long, it helps me to know how the student feels about the subject matter and the desire (or lack of it) to overcome the underlining issue.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a PhD in civil engineering and currently teach in a state university.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
There is no fixed pricing. Cost of tutoring depends on factors such as the traveling distance (in the case of in-person tutoring) versus virtual.
How did you get started teaching?
I loved to teach friends when I was in school.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with high school students, undergraduate and graduate students as well.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always look for the best one that will guide you in your learning process. A great tutor can help you develop a learning process that is applicable to many subjetcs.
