Although teaching mathematics is a challenging task, I try to educate my students at a deep level of understanding and attempt to show my students how captivating mathematics can be, while focusing on reaching students of all backgrounds and learning styles. I believe the goal should be to impart a deep understanding of the course material that allows my students to apply the mathematics they have learned to succeed in subsequent math courses. I got my PhD from Purdue University and have experience in teaching Math for more than 30 years. Most of my students I tutored previously achieved excellent results.

I’ve been an educator for 32 years having taught all grades from kindergarten through with grade. I specialize in math, reading, writing and study skills even up to the college level.

I am a Junior at Solon High School. Since my childhood, I have developed an aptitude for STEM in general, and mathematics especially. I have demonstrated this through participating in MathCounts and AMC competitions. I have completed AP level Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Calculus, and I am in Multivariable Calculus Currently. I also peer tutor at my high school, I am good at explaining things in an easy to understand and simple way that students can understand and not just memorize concepts. I am a patient individual, and I am open to feedback as well in my teaching methods.

I am a degreed engineering and math major and have tutored middle school -12, as well as taught electronics at the college level. I can tutor in any subject, especially cumulative assessment exams, and prep exams, but I have a passion for math and science subjects. One of my recent accomplishments was attaining my Master's Degree in Project Management. It has helped me focus on tasks, to not only accomplish them, but to excell at them.
