About
Our initial assessment will show us and the parent exactly what the student needs in order to catch up, keep up, or even get ahead! We also have an in-house curriculum that follows Common Core Standards so we can help your student with their school work. We offer in center and online sessions.
Helping students understand and (maybe) enjoy math is our driving passion! We want students to know that math doesn't have to be something that has to be hated and despised. We can help your student find a way that works best for them and then we encourage their continued growth based off of that initial understanding!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We sit with the parent and go over expectations while a student does both a verbal and written assessment. We ONLY tutor in math so we are great at this one subject, rather than trying to be everything to everyone.
Once we have the results of the assessment back, we sit with the parent/guardian (and student if the adult(s) wish) and go over how we can fill in any gaps in their understanding.
Then we execute the plan, updating progress along the way with ACTUAL tangible results you can see.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a franchise specializing in math tutoring. The Regional Director has a degree in Early Childhood Education and has taught for many years. He brings this understanding of mathematical concepts to all of the centers and Instructors. Our instructors are certified through our proprietary training course to be able to teach math to kids, in a way that makes sense to them.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We offer a variety of plans and we are more than happy to discuss with you personally!
How did you get started teaching?
I started my teaching career path by going back and helping my first grade teacher my Jr and Sr year of high school. I saw the impact that she was making on students and I remembered how much she had encouraged and taught me. I wanted to do that!
I went to college at Miami University and began teaching after I graduated. I have taught in many different schools and school settings; from online to in person, from public to private!
What types of students have you worked with?
While I was teaching, I mostly worked with students in Elementary, I have made sure to hire a staff that is able to work with students of any and every level! We have Instructors who are just as passionate as I am about Elementary, but I also have Instructors who have master’s degrees in Math and Engineering. We have someone that can help any student, no matter what their capabilities are!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
One of the most important things is that you are looking for someone who can help you with more than just tonight's homework. You need someone who can set you up for success in the long run. The best way to do this is to find any areas where there may be gaps and work to fill them in for the student.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. Have I tried different solutions?
2. Have I thought about the problem critically?
3. Have I made an attempt before giving up?
