I have over 10 years experience in tutoring students in math as well as teaching and coaching in the beavercreek school system. I have an Ohio teaching certificate in Math 7-12. I have also tutored and proctored the SAT and ACT
I have a unique ability to convey complex information in a simple concise manner that will be understood by my students. Not only that,but they will be able to understand WHY a certain formula or exercise was used. My greatest thrill is seeing a student "get it" when they may have struggled for years with a certain problem (like Fractions)

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first assess the student's knowledge of fundamentals which is invaluable in mathematics. Then I Judge factors such as whether the student is more of a visual or auditory learner. We go at a pace which is comfortable to the student. I want them to gain confidence in their ability for maybe the first time in their lives.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Science from Penn State University with major emphasis on Mathematics and computer Science. I also have a degree in Electronics Engineering from Penn Technical Institute In addition I have taught and tutored in the Beavercreek Ohio school system both privately and publicly for over 10 years, and proctored the SAT and ACT tests.
