Missy Brown Tutoring

I am a recently retired special education teacher from Beavercreek Schools in Ohio who worked primarily with middle school students in the mild to moderate disability category. We are a highly rated school and are known for our special education programs. I have taught and tutored students with and without disabilities in reading, writing, math through Algebra 1 , and American History, and I am qualified in the K-12 curriculum. I enjoy the one on one tutoring and have great relationships with my students who still contact me years after teaching them. I will work with you on whatever you need to improve and I try to bring humor into my teaching when I can. I can be pretty sarcastic but know when to hold it back when needed. Every student does not learn the same so part of my evaluation will be getting to know your learning style and adjusting my lessons or help to that as best as possible. I work closely with parents and students to get the best possible results.
